It’s our one year Anniversary (Or near enough as dammit) and Gin, Walt and Local and joined by special guest Al Evans from Laughing Jackal.

Games discussed include Skyrim, some JRPG’s, Dungeon Defenders, the Laughing Jackal back catalogue and a few others.

Did I mention we had a special guest? Well, Al joins us to provide some insight into their processes, design strategy and also to mention a couple of games that never made it (The concept behind the cancelled Move Title sounded awesome).

As a result of the above, the show is a little longer than normal (apologies for that) but I honestly didn’t want to cut any more of it down than was necessary.

Well the year is coming to a close and it’s time for the Playstation Crowd awards. . .

Gin, Local, Wally and Rob all get together to discuss their top 3 games of the year, some honourable mentions and the usual sort of thing you expect to hear from an end of year show.

Plus we have the awards, voted for by members of the Crowd, Podcast listeners and twitter followers, Gin takes us through the list and the guys are left to try and guess the winner.

So Episode 20 is here and so is all the gang!

We have Gin, Local, Walt, Rob and Rob. . . Wait that doesn’t help, we have Rob (as in Silen7in) and Rob (as in Evil), the gangs all here and ready to talk all things gaming, we start with an email that leads to a discussion on game related movies and then move on to the games we’ve been playing, this includes Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham City, Some Wii games and Beat Hazard Ultra.

We discuss various games, including BF3, Dark Souls, Borderlands, Nier, Festival of blood and Beat Hazard, there’s some off-topic discussion about Onlive, some off the rails comments about ermmm “stuff” and Gin proves that he doesn’t read profiles on Twitter before clicking follow. (Which wouldn’t have made it into the show were it not for the fact that I’m going away and don’t have time to edit it out)

As a final section to the show, Walt rounds it out with a brief piece about Arkham City.

We did run a little long this time around and normally I would have clipped it down a bit but due to time constraints this just wasn’t possible this time around.

Episode 18 of the crowdcast and once again the technical issues demon rears its ugly head, as a result some of the show is missing (The beginning oddly enough).

Anyway, Gin, Rob, Walt and Huzz all get together to discuss what they’ve been playing, games discussed are Dark Souls, Real Steel, NHL 10, Deus Ex and a few others, we also have a brief discussion on the topic of Onlive and Gin has yet another rant about hidden charges in PSN games.

It’s a bit of a shorter show than normal due to the loss of a chunk of audio at the start, but in all honesty it may have been in our favour as we were pushing 3 hours originally which would have meant a delay in release due to editing.
